APH x Princess Mononoke Sketchdump

Because I found a new Asian OTP for Hetalia = S. Korea and Taiwan. Though they may not have the best relationships as nations, but like I said, I kind of ship them as humans/characters than the nations themselves. ^^ 

A little crazy idea, that if Yong Soo was Ashitaka. And since Koreans are also well known for mounted archery sans Mongolia, this position fits him pretty well. He's wearing what would look like a mounted archer's clothes. (I lost the link QAQ) I tried to implement the country's culture into this crossover, rather than follow the clothes worn by Ashitaka blindly. I would also have had Yong Soo travel with Yakul, but in terms of historical accuracy, I would give him a horse instead. 

Although, in terms of clothing, I was obliged to follow San's entirely for Mei Mei (Taiwan). I have Mei have fun with a Formosan Mountain Dog, only indigenous to Taiwan. And the infamous "You're beautiful." scene... Just because Mei calls Yong Soo "stupid" does not imply she is trying to be a tsundere. (Now I always associate the word "stupid" with "tsundere" given most tsunderes often use that to deny their affections for their beloveds. =_= ) Though seriously. Who on earth flatters a girl when the same girl is trying to kill him, and survives thereafter?

Oh, and the supposedly scene of San vs Eboshi Gozen? It's Mei vs Chun Yan (Nyotalia China.) Given China was one of the countries that first invented gunpowder, and being a strong nation in the past with cannons, I feel it was fitting to have Chun assume this post. And regarding the fact that I completely altered Chun's appearance to match an intimidating appearance like that of Eboshi, I wasn't too fond of China looking like a doll in some respects, with those two buns. Also, implied historical relations, but we won't go further on that. Long story.
